If I had the money and the ability to do it, I wouldn't think twice about it. It's something I've thought about since I was a kid watching the shuttle launches.
I agree with matthew. I would not give it a second thought. I grew up around the shuttle launches, watching almost all of them from the first launch in April of 1981 until I moved from FL in 1997. I have always wondered what it would be like to be in space. I guess you could say I am one of them Sci-Fi geeks who watched way too much Star Trek, Star Wars, and Dr. Who, growing up.Be safe, and hopes that Ike doesn't come your way.
I just wish I had that kind of cash!
Sure i wouldSince 1984 i can think of almost nothing else
I would do it in a heartbeat, I still remember watching the moon landing as a kid.
Without a doubt. I dreamed of being the first woman on the moon. I am even before Star Trek, etc. I use to read Fantastic and Amazing magazines when I was 11 back in 1945. Mrs. L's Mom,Roz
Hey there. I have read in the news that people in Texas are being evacuated. Have you heard anything about your area? I hope you don't have to be evac'ed...I want to read more about your study!! :-)
I'm sure space is nice and all, but my answer would probably come closer to Lawrence's answer in "Office Space".Just thought it would be ambiguous since kids may be reading...
where do i sign up??
If I had the funds, in a Mars Minute...
I, too, grew up in Florida watching the launches. TOTALLY AWESOME sight that you can't possibly understand if you've only seen it on tv. You bet I'd GO!! Going has GOT to be even better than just watching.
