I wish I could be there in person. My son is in Florida right now and somehow I could not convince him to drive over to watch it. He's not the science geek that I am, that's for sure.
I'll be watching on NASA TV. My greatest regret is that I never got to watch a night launch or at least one of the Apollo launches.
Me too! I'm really trying to get to STS-135, but so is everyone else, LOL... but like you, I'm wowed by anyone who has a chance to go and doesn't. I was a real demon about launches when I lived in Florida. if I couldn't get away from work, I *at least* scheduled a break so I could appreciate the SONIC BOOM ;)
